Frequently asked questions

What are birth month flowers?

Each month of the year has one or two flowers linked to it, much like birthstones. The tradition grew from Roman and Victorian customs and is widely used in the US and the UK for birthday gifts, jewelry, tattoos and bouquets.

Why do some months have two birth flowers?

Different traditions settled on different flowers, so most months ended up with two: one that is often more common and one that is more seasonal. November is usually given only the chrysanthemum.

How can I make a family birth flower bouquet?

Use the free family bouquet maker: add each person's birth month and name, choose the petal shape and wrapping, and save the image to print, frame or send. It is a popular Mother's Day and birthday gift idea.
