What are color harmonies?
Color harmonies are color combinations based on where colors sit on the color wheel. Following these relationships makes sure your colors go well together and convey the feeling you want.
Types of color harmony
Complementary colors sit opposite each other on the wheel and create maximum contrast. Analogous colors are neighbors and create smooth transitions. A triadic scheme uses three evenly spaced colors for a vivid, balanced result. A tetradic scheme combines two complementary pairs. Split complementary softens the contrast by using the neighbors of the complement. And monochromatic uses a single hue at different lightness levels.
How to use them
Copy the codes you need, or open any harmony in the palette editor to fine-tune it. If you plan to put text on top, check the contrast first.
