How to make a movie color palette

Pause the film on a scene you love and take a screenshot. Upload it here and choose how many colors you want (4 to 8). The tool groups similar pixels and gives you the colors that carry the most weight in the image, sorted dark to light, by amount or by hue.

For Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest

Choose "Post 4:5" for the Instagram feed, "Story 9:16" for stories and TikTok, or "Original" to keep the shape of the image. You can hide the HEX codes on the strip and switch the background to black for a more cinematic look.

What about your photos?

It works with any image: travel photos, a painting, an album cover or your own short film. It is a great way to build a brand or project color palette from a photo that inspires you.
