How to choose colors for a website
An interface usually needs just a primary brand color, an accent color for actions (buttons, links) and a gray scale for backgrounds, borders and text. Stay consistent by always using the same hex codes, and apply them with CSS variables.
Copy the palette as CSS
Each card has a button that copies the CSS for all five colors. Paste it into your stylesheet and rename the variables to fit your project. You can also copy any single color by tapping it.
Contrast and accessibility
Before you publish, make sure your text is easy to read on its background. Use the contrast checker to confirm you meet WCAG AA or AAA levels. It matters for accessibility and for SEO.
