The flag of Spain has three horizontal stripes: red, yellow (twice as wide) and red, and is known as the “rojigualda.” It comes from the naval ensign chosen by Charles III in 1785, partly because it was easy to spot at sea. The official version carries Spain's coat of arms on the yellow stripe. The HEX codes are reference values derived from the official shades.
These are commonly used reference values; they can vary by source, material or screen.
