Across Latin America, independence days are big national holidays, known as fiestas patrias. Mexico and Chile celebrate theirs in September, and other countries at different times of year. Almost every flag in the region uses red, white, blue, green or yellow, much like July 4th palettes in the US. These 12 palettes help you decorate or design with those colors without looking flat.

Use the official shades as a reference
Each flag has a specific red, blue or green. If you're representing a country, start from its shades and only adjust the lightness for backgrounds or text.
Add a neutral so it can breathe
Three strong colors together can look flat. An off-white, a wicker beige or a soft gold makes the design look more polished.
Dates by country
Mexico celebrates on September 15 and 16, Chile on September 18 and 19, Peru on July 28 and 29, Argentina on May 25 and July 9, and Colombia on July 20. Time your campaign to your audience's calendar.
