Orange works in decor as an accent on throw pillows, chairs, lamps or a kitchen wall. Pair it with white, gray or navy for balance. With wood and green you get a retro '70s style. Use it sparingly in bedrooms because it's stimulating.

Orange is excellent for buttons and calls to action because it grabs attention. For text, use it at large sizes or on dark backgrounds like navy blue.
What to avoid
Avoid pairing it with red or hot pink without neutrals, because the look gets loud. With bright yellow it can be too much.
